We are delighted to announce that the ensemble Da Ladno! returns to Casa col Forno. They come from Moscow and play and sing magnetic folk from the Russian tradition. Now nomads in Europe, they visit us with harmonica, ukulele, guitars, drums and lots of voice!
The team:
Irina Shpilevaya: keeper of the songs and their lyrics, voice
Natalia Moskalyova: voice, guitar
Roman Ukhin: holder of the trumpet, arranger, improviser, voice, ukulele, also in “balalaika” mode
Sergey Bespalchenko: rhythm keeper and assorted percussion
Sergei Fyodorov: keeper of poetry, guitar
Vovka Kozhekin: keeper of the group, muse, voice, harmonica, good-luck charm.
Don’t forget to bring something to drink or something useful for Casa col Forno (paints, varnishes, beeswax, propolis, essential oils, fabric scraps, candles, furniture, glasses, clothes) and your small contribution to support our cosy little place. If everyone gave 10 euros, it would be enough to support the artists and cover the expenses: bills, taxes and everything else. If you gave more, it would certainly help make Casa col Forno an even better place. It is not a commercial project, but it lives on the contributions of friends and greatly appreciates your every help.
