ORPHIC WIND VAN

Marc Ferrario, a.k.a Mandril, exhibits his work in his country of origin for the first time. Passionate about complex mechanisms, biomechanics and industrial revolution by Steampunk Uchronia, Mandril offers us, in the ideal setting of the Stone Oven House, a poetic installation about a reappropriation of tinkered cog-wheels, music boxes, weather vanes and wind songs. A collaboration with his father, who left North Italy to work in Switzerland as an inventor for the watch-making industry. Watch out! Absurd machinery whose magic uselessness becomes esthetic.
