The Trivettes Bluegrass Brothers is a band formed in 2014 in Pinerolo, in the province of Turin, with the initial aim of playing classic Country music (Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, etc.) while updating its sound with Folk and Blues touches. Before long the members turned to Bluegrass, the most popular genre in the eastern United States, reviving famous traditional songs brought to the international public by artists such as Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, the Country Gentlemen and the Osborne Brothers.
In May 2015 they began playing in the streets and squares of Italy (Turin, Asti, Genoa, Siena, etc.), seeking the most direct contact possible with the audience. And not only that: for the past year the TTBB have performed in various venues in and around Turin (Live 4 Emergency at Stranamore in Pinerolo, Swing Circus at Officine Corsare, Radio McBun, etc.).
In June 2016, with the aim of promoting Bluegrass and related musical events, the cultural association “The Trivettes Bluegrass Association” was born.
