Opera Without Rules

A performative workshop blending voice, movement and improvisation.
An experience where opera becomes play — a space of freedom and self-discovery.

Set in the natural and creative environment of Stone Oven House, the process unfolds through breathing and resonance exercises, vocal exploration, spontaneous movement and collective storytelling. Participants use the body as an instrument, the voice as a landscape, and dialogue as a living composition.

The narrative emerges together: fragments of personal stories, gestures, sounds and silences weave into a constantly shifting theatrical form — sometimes lyrical, sometimes humorous, always alive.

Opera Without Rules does not aim for perfection but for presence — the truth of the moment. It’s a shared artistic journey where everyone becomes composer, performer and audience at once.

The workshop is guided by Alexander Kosko, movement therapist and improviser, and Maria Krasilova, composer, pianist and performer.
