Repair & Swap Day at Casa col Forno

At Casa col Forno, sustainability is more than just a concept—it’s a way of living. In collaboration with Fashion Revolution, this gathering encourages awareness of fast fashion and promotes a more conscious approach to clothing.

The event includes a communal mending session, where participants bring clothes that need repair. Whether it’s a missing button, a worn-out elbow, or a hole in a favorite sweater, everyone works together to extend the life of their garments. Textile artist Antonella Di Dedda shares creative mending techniques, turning simple repairs into unique design elements. Materials are available, but guests are welcome to bring their own needles and thread.

Alongside the repair session, a clothing swap takes place. Instead of letting good-quality clothes sit unworn in a closet, participants bring items they no longer need and exchange them for something new to them. There’s no one-to-one trade—everyone is free to take what they find useful.
