BilzhoFest: A Seasonal Flare-up of Creative Temperament

А small-scale festival of creativity, irony, and self-reflection led by artist, writer, and psychiatrist Andrey Bilzho.
December 12–17, 2025, Stone Oven House

December is never an easy month. The year ends, the cold begins, and symptoms of creative deficiency and existential fatigue often appear. We offer a proven remedy — a week in the Italian Alps where psychotherapy meets drawing, conversation, wine, and mountain walks.

BilzhoFest is an experimental clinic of creative self-expression, where under the supervision of Dr. Bilzho — psychiatrist in the past, artist and writer in the present — participants explore their ideas, anxieties, and absurdities, transforming them into projects.

Each participant is invited with a small initiative — a text, a drawing, a performance, a song, or just an idea that’s been waiting to come alive. Over several days, project work will alternate with “therapeutic practices”: sauna sessions, shared meals, discussions by the fireplace, and group irony therapy.

The week will culminate in an exhibition where Dr. Bilzho will present each participant with a personal annotation — and, if necessary, a mild creative diagnosis.

Therapeutic Schedule

December 12 — Arrival, introductions, welcome dinner, and initial consultation.
December 13 — Local flea market, collection of inspiring junk, evening lecture with Bilzho.
December 14 — Field trip to Turin, visit to the Grand Balon market, city walk, lunch at a fish restaurant.
December 15 — Art therapy: studio work, paint, glue, sauna, and amaretto discussions.
December 16 — Clinical symposium and exhibition opening. Final dinner with Barolo and confessions.
December 17 — Departure of participants.

Who It’s For

For anyone experiencing creative anxiety, artistic jealousy, existential fatigue, mild apathy — or, on the contrary, excessive inspiration.
