From 9.01.2022 till 9.02.2022 we host an exhibition of our resident Dragoljub Stankovikj.
Dragoljub Stankovic needs no introduction in North Italy. He is a fountain-man, a holiday-man, a temple-man. His art is not pretending to be naive, is true naive. It does not know about the existence of the market, it is in itself, for itself and for everyone at the same time. Dragoljub went to it all his long and eventful life. Through escape, through war, through imprisonment, through losses and gains. One of his main acquisitions is his refuge in Italy: the residence of the Stone Oven House. Every year Dragolyub comes here, exchanging his Montenegrian mountain landscape to Italian Alps. To continue to admire the mountains, expressing their delight in all possible languages.
In this unnamed series, in our opinion, an incredible task has been solved: the author was able to determine the monumentality of the mountains with the most minimal means, in the format of a miniature, created in a very particular technique on ceramic plates.
